LG Wireless Phone

Do you HAVE to pay for the wifi to get the samsung Omnia? Is it possible to get the phone without internet?

I am trying to decide which phone I want to get on my 2 year update. I am picking between the samsung Omnia and the LG Dare. But the thing is I can't afford to pay an extra 30 bucks a month for internet. Does anyone know if that is required with having this phone? Thanks!

1. wifi is always free, but you are required to pay for a data plan to get it on contract. tyou could buy the phone from a third party and then you would not need a data plan
2. Verizon requires that all smartphone users have a date plan. They won't give you the phone unless you have it. In my opinion and hours of research, I have come to the conclusion that the Omnia is wayyy!!! better because: Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional GPS WiFi and many other things like an amazing on screen keyboard. Hope you get the omnia because it's worth it. (Plus all that memory (8gb or 16gb) for music!! :D)
