With a blackberry phone, do you need an internet plan to use the wireless internet or is it free?
I have looked everywhere but can't find details. I'm getting a RIM BlackBerry 7230, and it says "wireless internet" does that mean for free, like a laptop's wifi connection? or does that just mean the constant connection for when you pay for an internet plan?

- It means you can get wireless internet. If you want to use it you will need a BlackBerry data plan. I know with AT&T you can have a BlackBerry with out the data plan. The data plan start out from 30 and go up to 50 dollars.
- When they mention "wireless Internet" they are talking about accessing the Internet via the mobile network. That BlackBerry does not have a Wi-Fi radio. The only BlackBerrys that have a Wi-Fi radio are the Curve 8320 and the Pearl 8120.
