- I have Verizon phones, a LG enby 2 and a samsung alias...both have it...both where under 200 with a contract. otherwise, search on ebay for used or new phones and im sure youll find one in your price range.
- Preface: I research phones extensively. Verizon only offers 2 phones with wifi: the i760 by samsung (but it's a big phone, expensive, and it's a little old), and the XV6800, which is basically like the HTC Mogul, and runs Windows Mobile (WM). However, it costs $400, so out of the question. The Blackberry models that Verizon does offer do not have wifi on them, nor do i think they have 3g connectivity although i could be wrong. A new blackberry device with wifi and everything else, known as the Blackberry Bold, will (tentatively) be out in January on Verizon, so if you can wait until then, the Bold has already been hailed as THE phone to beat. Plus, it'll only cost $199. If you can't wait that long, AT&T will have it out in September. if you're looking for a wifi phone, check out the Palm Treo 800w for Sprint. It was just released 2-3 weeks ago and runs WM6.1, and has bluetooth, gps, 3g, touchscreen and full qwerty. If not, and you're still looking for something more affordable (talking $145) with wifi, the T-Mobile Shadow by HTC is a nice pick, although does not offer 3g. The AT&T Tilt has wifi as well, but then again, it is expensive($435), and if you're going with AT&T for web, why not the iPhone3g. Though it an Apple product, it is on nearly every Top 10 list for best phones on most phone websites I research. Bottom line -- Verizon only has 2 phones with wifi available, the i760 and the XV6800, neither of which i recommend. The Treo 800w is a great pick, although it is $250, which isn't that bad for a feature packed smart phone, and Sprint's data plans are the best. PS: ENV2 does NOT have wifi (and people complain a lot about the external screen)
