Belkin N1 Wireless Router Problems?

I have owned a N1 router for about 6 months now and it has worked fine, only occasionally needing a restart. I got a Sony c905 for christmas with wifi. The phone could connect to the router and access internet. But for some strange reason, yesterday the phone could not find the router when I turned wifi on. I then restarted the router and still no networks found. I thought it was my phone and reset everything on it. It then still found no networks. My uncle came round and he has wifi on his phone and he could not find any networks either. So i reset the router and entered all the connection settings again. It is now back on the internet but my phone still cant find it. Whats even stranger, is that our computers can easily find and connect to the wireless, yet these phones that once could connect to it, cant. Does anybody know of any settings that need changing, or have any advice? Thanks

1. Check on the manufacturers web site for the Belkin router to see if there are any firmware upgrades available. What may well have happened is firmware upgrades that automatically download to the phones, may have made the phones incompatible with the router, until it's firmware is also upgraded.
2. It could be that the phones are on a different channel to the router. But this is unlikely as they should scan every channel but maybe look into that.
