Why doesn't my Belkin router give me my wireless internetttttttttt! D:<?

So for about a year now, I've been having the same problem with belkin router: NO WIRELESS INTERNET. It has bewildered me for quite sometime as to why I cannot use the wireless internet I've died for. When using my laptop or PSP to scan the area for wireless internet, I usually get 'Belkin54g', along with other locals. Belkin is the one I own, obvs, and I can't use it. I'm tremendously frustrated. I've played with the http://192.blahblahblah site hoping for an answer, but nothing. The SSID thingy is set up as WEP, and I need a key, or a password for it? But father, and purchaser or evil router, doesn't have the password key shitzel either. He would use it for his WiFi grabbing phone. HOW can I find out the key/password so I can use my long-awaited wireless interwebbbbb? D:

1. you need to get into the routers set up and look for wireless settings and the password should be on the wep page, it will be a long letter and number password, i dont use belkin so im not sure exactly how to reach the set up page
