does the sony mylo wifi phone ring when its called?

i know it uses skype but will it function like a real phone even though im not on skype at the moment?

2. Ya it has the skype ring tone but I haven't changed the tone. As for a real phone you have it right its a wifi phone and it works with other skype users like if you have a mylo and I then it works great also works with computers too. For 5 bucks a month you can make cell and land calls in the U.S.
