Can I use a Skype phone bought in England in South Africa?

I am moving to South Africa next month, and a few of my friends own skype phones. I was wondering if I bought a skype phone from England, would I still be able to use it in South Africa? There's also this new Skype wifi phone which my friend in America is getting, does anyone know which would be better? Thanks guys

1. Hi, yes you will be able to use the skype phone, as it works through the computer, which is a universal device. If it uses a power source, then the plug connection may be different, but it is easy to change once you arrive. There are a variety of stores in Cape Town, and other South African cities that will be able to supply the correct plug fitting. Note, if you skype phone is USB, you will not have to make any modification. I hope this answers your question Jim
