am getting an error messgae when i call my friend who has verizon wireless service?

the message states " the number you have reached has been changed,disconnected, or no longer in service. if you feel this is an error,please try your call again later. announcement 2 switch 22-8. does this mean this person lost their phone?

1. no its means wat it says changed disconnected or no longer in service
2. No it doesn't mean that this person lost their phone. But maybe due to them losing their phone they disconnected it so someone else wouldn't use it.
