Question about Verizon Wireless phone sales?

My contract ended on Feb 7 and when I went to the store I didn't feel like buying anything yet because I wasn't sure. A week later I decided I wanted the Voyager and was set to buy it, but the man who was helping us told us that because we made changes to our plan that we would have to wait til the end of the billing cycle which was a week later. Then, I come back and the Voyager went from $80 to $150 and that was too much. I asked the women if she expected it to go on sale and she said that they do promotions the first and fifteenth days of the months and now they are doing a Samsung promotion. Does anyone with a Verizon background know if they expect an LG promotion by this weekend?
