LG Wireless Phone

Can anyone give me advice on LG mobile phones?

I am due an upgrade and there is a gorgeous looking new LG phone (LG Shine) due to be available to me from 22nd Feb. I have never had LG before (though I thought the Chocolate range looked fab) and was wondering what they are like. I'm particularly interested in: Operating system - is it easy and logical? Texting - again, is it straightforward? Battery power - reasonable length of time? Durability - does it go wrong easily? Love to hear from people who have had LG phones.

  1. I have an LG VX8300 and love it. It's my first LG. It is so easy to use and synch music to. The option for using a SD card really makes it great. You can load all of your music to this card and not use up room in the phone. I also save my pictures here. I walk for 1 hour twice a day and use my phone as a MP3 player. The two hours of constant use only made one bar drop off on battery strength. I've only had the phone for 6 months so as to durability...I can't say. However, everything else about the phone is great.
  2. I have the LG chocolate phone and find it really easy to use. The battery lasts long enough - i think about 2 and half days with me using it ALL the time, and i havent had a problem with it at all (though i have heard of a few people who have had to send theirs back due to it breaking somehow, so that is worth considering). My only problem with it is that when you are texting it doesnt automatically use a capital after a full stop - i know it sounds silly, but it drives me mad! Other than that, i cant really fault it.
  3. I have LG choc and here is what I think: Operating System - OK not as logical as nokia and takes getting used to Texting - Straight forward Batter power - shite, it doesn't last for very long on mine, although the person above said his does, so maybe mine warped Surability - nothing has gone wrong so far except it switched itself off a couple of times to reboot Hope this helps, i think as long as you are looking for something stylish, but not fancy functions its good. No phone beats Nokia for user interface though x
