How do you take off a hard cover for the Lg dare cell phone?

Ok i put on the case 2 days ago and i want to take out the battery and put in a new battery (ordered a new battery old one died somehow). The case is really snug on and I don't want to break the case by just ripping it off. Any secrets on how to take it off???

1. Try sliding it off in other ways. If you are still having trouble, then take the phone to your local Verizon store where someone can try to help you getting the case off.
