LG Wireless Phone

I have a Verizon LG cell phone. I would like to download my cell phone contacts onto my computer as a backup?

I would like this backup in case my phone is lost. Thanks

1. Go to verizonwireless.com and in the search bar type in backup assistant. Click on the backup assistant and will give you the directions you need to backup your phone.
2. you can try to get the LG pc suite. this will install the drivers for your phone and will let you sync the phone to your outlook. if your phone came in with an installation cd, just install that on your computer and you should be able to sync.
3. on your phone go to get it now and tools/ back up assistant. Download this program to your phone set it up and it automatically backs up all your contacts with Verizon and when you get a new phone just restore all the backed up contacts to the new phone, I did this and it works great it automatically backs up and as you add new contacts it backs them up too. The other way you will need a USB cable software and drivers for your phone to do it. If you want to go this way search on-line for Prolific driver pl2303 for your phone and bitpim (free) software then buy a USB cable on eBay or something and it should work. Install the driver, Install the software, plug the phone in with the USB and it should work fine.
