How do I find the ESN code on my Cell Phone, for model LG VX3200?

How do I find the ESN code on my Cell Phone, for model LG VX3200? It is rubed off under the battery and I was wondering if it was located within the actual phone, like onscreen in the database or something? I need to switch my phone but it's smudged back on the sticker with the code? Help? How do I find the ESN code on my Cell Phone, for model LG VX3200? It's kind of older. -- I heard it costs 25 bucks to go in there and ask for them to find it for you, but its free over the internet --- I have 5 out of the 8 numbers because of the smudge. it's stupid. -- is there any other number on the back of the phone that i could use, or could i call verizon and ask or something? cause this is really getting annoying. -- Also, I wantd to do this because my mom doesn't want to go to teh store and pay money and waste time... and we just got me unlimited texting so I need help asap.

1. If it is a Verizon phone (I assume it is because it is a LG brand phone), Verizon will be able to access the ESN number of your phone on their computer systems, since it should be stored in your electronic file when it is first activated at the store. Plus, if you have a copy of the printed contract they should have given you at the time of original activation, the ESN barcode and number is on that. Hope this helps, not sure about what Sprint, Nextel, Alltel, etc. do.
