LG Wireless Phone

can anybody tell me why the video camera on my LG phone keeps turning on by itself?

I would like to know why my video camera on my LG cell phone keeps turning on by itself. This is starting to make me mad because it wears down the battery. When the camera turns on I am nowhere near the phone. It was sitting on the table at work and on my desk at home.

1. If I had to place a guess, there is a camera button on the side of your phone and it is getting pressed either when you put it in your pocket/purse, take it out of your pocket/purse, or while it is in your pocket/purse.
