Is my original cell phone battery better than my insurance replacement?

I recently broke my phone, and my phone insurance sent me the same model for replacement. I noticed the replacement has a generic battery that is 850 mAh. My original battery is LG brand and is 900 mAh. should I keep my original battery in use with the new phone? thanks!

1. Usually, an insurance replacement is replaced in the cheapest manner possible. Yes, the old one is probably better.
