LG 245 Cell Phone Battery?

I recently purchased an LG 245 cell phone, and noticed even on standby the charge of the battery will only last for 2 days... My old phone was an LG 3200 and observed that the battery would last for 5-6 days on standby... Is this because my 245 has more features and such?... What's the deal??

1. Could be the size of the battery, the number of features, and what you are doing with it. Are you using online features you weren't on the old phone? Also, don't charge it until the phone is almost dead. The more you charge it, the more the battery life goes down.
