Does email and bluetooth sending on a verizon phone cost money?
i just got my cell phone (lg venus) last weekend. my friend told me he can send me his ringtones and games through email and bluetooth. he tells me it is free by i dont believe him. My phone plan is the basic one. can someone just tell if it is free or not and if it does cost me money tell me how much. thanks

- yes. nothing is free. except for bluetooth.
- i'm pretty sure bluetooth is free but emailing is NOT (unless you have a data plan, which i'm assuming you don't) oh, but if you text it to your email address then it will cost you the 15 cents or whatever it is for a text. so if you have unlimited texting then yes, it's free. i have verizon, too, and that's how it is for me, so i hope this helps.

- Bluetooth is free, E-mail is not. If you just got a new plan, E-mail will cost you $2 per MB (not a bad price at all...) Any time you see the phone symbol with the two arrows going in opposite direction, that is a "data transfer" which means any time you browse Get It Now or use the internet, it'll cost you $2. However, sending or receiving messages is different. That only takes 1 airtime minute if you have a bundle. I hope this helps you!
