Buttons wearing off on my cell phone!!?

I have the [pink] LG venus cell phone, and I text a lot, but my buttons are wearing off! How do I protect them? Its' not the actual touch screen. It's the keypad buttons.]

2. There's really no way to protect them. ): Sorry. It really sucks, but you might have to get a new phone if they completely disappear, unless you want to memorize where the buttons are. --R
3. Well, my friend was having the same problem with her phone, and she said she was going to put little dabs of clear nail polish (while being careful not to get it everywhere else on the phone, like in the cracks). But I don't know if it worked, I don't see her until tomorrow.
