1. the LG venus, at this time, is a Verizon Wireless exclusive, meaning it is not yet available any where else in the world, besides for Verizon Wireless customers. Verizon Wireless provides good coverage in Canada, but it is not their own. They use other carriers like Telus to provide service their. They have plans starting at 59.99 for Natiowide Plus With Canada, so you would not need to pay anything extra to talk in canada...or the USA. Verizon Wireless does not provide stores in areas where they do not have their own coverage (even though they have coverage in canada, it is not their own), so you would have to find an in direct (authorized agent) and see if they have the phone.
