My mom bought me a alltel cell phone?

When get alltel cell phones. i usually put my sim card in the back where the slot is. but like all alltell phones are they dont have a slot for it. is there any way i can activate it. like a go phone. but i know that is cingular. i thought that there was a plan like that for alltell is there? what can i do with the phone? is there a web site i can go to?
