Samsung Galaxy S II or the Samsung Galaxy Note? I am here at the Philippines. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is out but it is not yet here in our country so I decided to compare these two phones. At first I thought that the Galaxy Note was ugly because it has this annoying S Pen but when I studied more of it, it looks beautiful to me now but really at first I REALLY REALLY LOVE the Samsung Galaxy S 2 because of voice controls and Motion Control. Should I get the HTC Touch or the Samsung T919? I am up for renewal next month and I'm trying to decide which phone to get. I love the specs given on both phones my only concerns are with the touch it is new everything and I don't like the way it looks that much it almost looks like a glorified sidekick plus htc phones can be sometimes complicating. The t919 looks like the iphone and I love the touch screen on it plus the camera but samsung in the past have not always made reliable phones. Either way could be a problem but I want a new phone with the latest and greatest on the t-mobile network. I haven't found much info on release dates nor pricing so if you have any info that would be great. I don't care about the price for a data plan cause there's no point in getting either one of these phones without the internet. It's like buying a ps3 and only playing ps2 games on it. any info would be great

Samsung or Apple phone next? Hello everyone, I need some help choosing to get a Samsung phone or an Apple phone next, after my current one dies... Right now I have a 3GS iPhone. I got iPhone because my laptop is Mac, so... I thought it'd be easier with the iPhone. But now everyone's telling me to get Android, but I've had an iPhone for so long, I'm so used to it :l I know a man who currently owns a Samsung Galaxy smartphone, and right before he had iPhone 4... he strongly dislikes the Samsung and says the iPhone was so much easier to use and faster. I think the latest model out (or coming out) is something called "Samsung Galaxy SII" ? Sorry I'm not sure about my phone names... And I believe iPhone 5 is coming out soon, too. So when the time comes... what do you suggest? I am looking for a phone that has fast internet, user friendly, good camera and display (iPhone's retina seems hard to beat), and it seems silly but... a little hole to loop little keychains into. One gripe about the iPhone is that they don't have one :(

I have YET to find the perfect cell phone!? So, my latest phone was the SYNC-A707 (Samsung), my phone before that was a Nokia 6102 and the C417 by Samsung once again! I haven't liked any of them enough to keep them for a long period of time. Why is this?! can i get money for my old cell phone?? i bought a new cell phone last year august 2007, it was a samsung SPH-m300 sprint phone, its a camera phone and pretty nice, but about 3 months later my phone got turned off, and i haven't used it since i no longer have an account wit sprint so i will not be needing this phone again, its still in pretty good condition, a few scratches on the side but that's about it, i paid $100 for it and i know i can sell it on the street but thats gonna take time, so i wanted to know if theres a way i can like return it to sprint or somethin for money? No i don't my account because its been so long my account has been canceled out by sprint and is in collections i am currently paying off my cancellation fee...so no longer have anything with sprint.

How can I fix my jammed camera lens? Please Help me!? O.k So I was recently over a friends house and we were playing and tackling each other. I'm not really sure was happened but I suspect that one of my younger friends jammed the lens, because there were only 3 people in the room, and me and my older friend were nowhere near it. Later I tried to turn on my Camera {Samsung BL 103} and it just made 3 beeping noises and shut off. Now I have admittedly dropped my camera multiple times and this has never happened. how do you take snapshots of open screens on the Samsung Gravity Smart? my dad has an android phone I forgot what kind tho, but he can take snapshots of the text message screen while the message screen is open by hitting the camera button. I do also have an android phone but mine is the Samsung Gravity Smart. I wondered if I could do that same thing but without a camera button I cannot see how I could. I do have a touch screen on my phone and on the screen I can touch the camera icon and up pops my camera. I was in a text message yesterday, and outta nowhere by accident i wasnt paying attention and I hit a button by total accident and I heard the camera snap a pic but there wasnt any picture nor was the camera open. I later was browsing my pictures on my phone and there was a snapshot of my text message screen. But I couldnt in my wildest imagination even under hypnosis tell you how I did that. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if they know how to do it on a samsung gravity smart. I would appreciate that. Its a handy feature to use if I can figure out how to use it, I have had a few incodents where I wish I had been able to snap a pic and show the person what the text looked like from my view. Cell phone newbie! Help me pick a smart phone!? Currently I have a Samsung...it's this phone... http://www.tphones.ca/images/assets/koodo-samsung-slyde-pink.jpg I love it. It's relatively light, small and after 4 years, I've gotten used to and like the slide out keyboard. But, it's starting to shut down repeatedly at random times, the battery is fading...And I want a phone that I can play with when I'm on the train/bus! This one has nothing extra...A camera/video camera and that's about it. I don't want to pay for an iphone...and Blackberries seem like pretty bad phones. So, I'm wondering if there are any smart phones that are like the slide phone I have now, but that have apps and a touch screen (I don't care about music or the quality of the camera...or even if there is a camera) If so, would I be able to play the same games as iphone users (draw something, words with friends...etc) and/or play those games with iphone users? Also, my cousin has been a loyal Rogers customer for years...When she bought her latest phone (from bestbuy), she asked is she could have one of the fees waved because she's been with them for so long. They said they would and she got a discount. Is it common for them to do that? And, what's the difference between Telus and Rogers? Why do I argue with my stepdad but not with my mom? I live with my biological mom and stepdad. My biological father is in jail until 2O16. Sometimes I really convince myself I hate my stepdad. He's always on me about EVERYTHING. My younger sister who's in 6th grade makes straight D's in school. I just got my interm report, and I have three A's , three B's , a C , and a D . I'm grounded, but she's not. I have a 7 yr old sister who shares a room with my 12 yr old sister, and when I say it's trashed, I mean you can't see the floor. There's barbies and toys and other junk everywhere. My room is spottless most of the time, unless I forget to put my make up away or pick up my dirty clothes on the floor. The first thing he does when he walks in the door from work is to go clean my room and do my chores (the living room + bathroom). And everytime I bring up the fact that I have to keep my room clean, and they can throw food in thier room he get's very angry to the point of hitting. My first phone was a flip phone at 12. My sister's first phone is a samsung with a keyboard. I just broke my latest phone, a small touchscreen. The screen doesn't work but I can recieve calls cus the buttons work. He says it's the perfect phone. So I say, my younger sister gets a phone with texting, internet, minutes, a camera, a camcorder, etc. and I don't? Which cell phone has a better camera? Well my contract is about to end with my cellphone company and I plan on getting a new phone. Right now I"m deciding between the blackberry curve 8520 or the samsung vibrant. Obviously I want the samsung vibrant the most but I can get the blackberry curve for free after I sign another contract with the company. I was just wondering which phone has a better camera the camera is pretty important for me I attend college and sometimes the teachers post notes in a glass case outside their class (so the students have to crowd around each other to try to copy it all down) and sometimes in labs the teacher post a whole bunch of notes on the board to study for during quizzes so it would be very nice and convenient for me if I could just take pictures and then look at them later (and be able to read the words clearly a lot of students are taking pictures of their notes and I really want to be able to do this as well) Also if you have any suggestions for phones that would be good too I would love to hear it. Is the Samsung Memoir worth the money.? I am looking for a new phone and i really love photography. i have to buy the phone and camera on my own. and to save money i was looking at the memoir because it is two in one. But i do drop my phones very often, and i type very fast and most phones cant keep up with me. I was wondering if this phone was worth it. Need a new phone...any suggestions? I (rather stupidly) switched my old Samsung G800 for a cheap and cheerful LG Cookie Fresh about 6 months ago and I'm starting to get fed up with some performance issues I'm having, along with an absolutely rubbish phone camera. I would like a new smartphone and was wondering what the best ones are. As far as features are concerned I'm not particularly fussed, however I would like a good camera and probably Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headphone jack and all the rest of it would be good for the rare times that I don't have my shiny iPod Touch handy. What I really want is a usable UI combined with smooth performance. I was thinking mainly of going either HTC (mainly a design choice here: I like the looks of most HTC phones and the Sense UI looks very slick) or Samsung (because I've had a couple of Samsungs in the past and liked them quite a lot). My budget is around AU$600 which, on eBay gets most of the latest Android 2.2 or WP7 phones on the market at the moment. Thanks in advance. Should point out that I would be buying these unlocked as I have an Optus Pre-Paid and I can't get anything locked to an Optus Pre-Paid, nor do I really want to go on a plan.

do u think at&t will get better android phones (than captivate)? so im kinda stuck with at&t for a while. it sucks. if i had verizon, i cud get the droid x and if i had sprint, i cud get the evo. but so far i think the best android at&t has right now is the samsung captivate. i actually think its a good phone. it has a 1ghz processor, and a super amoled screen, plus it looks good. but the thing i dont like is that its a 5 mp camera and not 8mp, which isnt exactly a deal breaker, but also that it doesnt have flash, which is kind of a disappointment. but the biggest thing im worried about is that how good does samsung make androids? i currently have a samsung impression. although it seemed ok at first, later on it got many problems. it freezes sooooo much. i can rarely take pictures or listen to music because it restarts every time i try to use camera/music player. my sister also has the same phone and altough hers is not as messed up as mine, it still has problems, like sometimes calls simply dont work. and also sometimes texts just never send. this makes me worried about buying samsung. i hope that its just a problem with the impression and not all their phones. another thing im worried about is android os updates. i guess samsungs becoming one of the biggies with android, but its not as streamlined as htc or motorola. what if the captivate doesnt get updates? so i want to get the captivate although the camera/flash isnt that good, but im not sure about the phone quality/ long lastivity, and the android updates. so are there other android phones coming out to at&t or are there rumored ones? and any that are worth waiting for?

The right AT&T QWERTY messaging phone (by my standards)? I'm going to get a new cell phone for Christmas and although I thought I knew which one I wanted, I'm still a little confused. My main competitors are: 1) Samsung Impression 2) LG Neon 3) LG Xenon 4) Samsung Solstice 5) Motorola Karma (The ones closer to the top are the ones I am considering the most) I've also just recently seen some new phones Samsung has come out with, the Samsung Mythic and the Samsung Flight. I really, really, REALLY value a good QWERTY keyboard in a phone, and good T9 predictive texting is also a plus. I want at least a 2 MP camera in my phone, because I'm not going to be taking my other camera with me everywhere I go. Also, I want a durable phone with minimal problems (who doesn't?). I don't mind touch screen phones at all, and I don't mind touch QWERTY phones either, just as long as they don't make an unecessary amount of mistakes. I'm not quite sure If I need 3G or not, seeing as I'm not going to be getting a data plan. I may upgrade to a data plan later, but I'm unsure about 3G and what it actually does. D900 or W810i? Looking for my xmas present. Both are the latest phones out in my price range so which one would you go for? i like the samsung d900 because it has good spec and it's a slide but i like the Sony Ericsson w810i because it is a walkman, has a good camera and generally more solid than a d900. i just dont like the w810i because of it's size and its just a brick in your pocket, unlike a d900. which one should i choose and WHY?

What is the "best" tablet as of 3/4/2012? Hello Yahoo! Answers, I am looking to finally purchase a tablet, and am hoping for a little help in picking one out. I know "best" is always subjective, but I am finding a ton of outdated "top 10" lists and guidelines as to what tablet actually does what and there are so many different versions out there I don't even know which one is the "latest" from a certain manufacturer. I would like a Wi-Fi tablet that I can use for browsing the Internet, and book reading, and video playback, and light gaming. It needs a camera, long battery life, fast, and ability to attach a USB drive or storage card to it. It needs to be a 10" tablet, because without ever owning one, I think a 7" tablet is not big enough for my needs. And it should be at max $500. I think it has to be an Android tablet. And it should be upgradable to the latest and greatest "Ice Cream Sandwich" some way. If I have to "root" it, it needs an "easy" process to do it, because I am new to the rooting thing. I would love the idea of having all of Windows available to me but I don't know if there will be any Windows 8 tablets coming out anytime soon that would be worth the wait? Or any tablets at all that are coming soon that would be worth the wait? Tablets I have looked at include the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Motorola XOOM, Motorola Droid Xyborg, Asus EE Pad Transformer, HP Touchpad I do not want to touch an iPad of any version. I don't have any Apple programs so the whole "experience" to me is pointless. I don't like their closed app store, or anything about them so please don't recommend an iPad. I read that the Asues EE Pad Transformer was really good (it sounded amazing) but its Purple. Don't they have any other colors? Sorry, I just do not feel confident enough to carry around a purple computer with me. Why did they make it purple? Or it just light from the screenshots I was looking at? I was also reading that it had problems with Wifi -which could be a problem for a Wifi only tablet - and that this was caused because of the way it was built so that it wasn't fixable with a software update. HP Touchpad - What is it? Is it Windows? Or Android? Or something else? I can't even look at the "official" site for it because its sold out... at least let me look at it, HP!! Motorolas - not sure which one is newer XOOM or Droid Xybot. I have the Droid 3 and love it, so I am really open to Motorola products, but a lot of places say "There are much better tablets for the money" (but don't say which ones!!) It looks to be the best tablet out there but there doesn't seem to be any talk of it. Yet, from the reviews I can't see that anyone said there was any huge issues with it Samsung - I loved the price and they have them on sale at a nearby Best Buy, but I don't know which one is the newest one and it doesn't look like its upgradable to "Ice Cream Sandwich" and there look to be lots of issues with the "Honeycomb." I have had Samsung phones and have been MAJORLY disappointed in them, yet I have had Samsung MP3s and TVs and other electronics that have been good quality. Nook, and Kindles - I definitely need more than an e-reader. I have read that you can root the kindles, is it worth it? Can it stand up as a usable tablet or would it be massively underpowered like trying to shove a square peg in a round hole? *****Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Nokia 6700 slide OR Samsung MONTE? I am planning to buy a phone in the price range of anything below Rs. 10000. As far as what I have decided based on the market analysis is that 1. Nokia 6700 slide 2. Samsung Monte are the "worth your money" mobiles under Rs.10000. But again both these mobiles have their own disadvantages. In 6700 there is no WiFi, also it lacks on the style, comparatively, but it has 5MP cam with dual flash. While the Monte has only a 3.2MP camera and no flash too. Also, Monte has got a negative review on part of its smartphon'ing ability, with very less RAM tending most of its applications useless. But the phone is very very stylish and I would definitely love to have it in my hand. So i'm terribly confused to take a decision. Hence is this poll here in yahoo. Tell me which mobile to choose of these two. Or suggest me a mobile that you feel is better than these two mobiles, which also is in the same price range, without compromising on the features of both these mobiles. I just discovered something new about my phone? I just discovered something new about my new phone, I was freaked up a little bit. Well these few last days I got a new phone , some samsung type of a phone. And it's really good for it's type. It's got some 'DIGITAL CAMERA' 640x480 max picture resolution, video recording.. bluetooth.. etc. nevermind about that, anyway. I have a number in it that's new also, and no one on earth knows about it except me. And I just get in my bathroom and my phone starts ringing.. saying 'Unknown caller - Accept-Deny' And I was like what the hell? I panicked like a puss and turned off the phone. Later I turned it on , and started wondering how on earth could someone call me if they don't know my number. Is someone spying me or what? Well anyway, just by pressing the 'Down' key i got a pop-up question like 'Activate fake phone call?" i press the left main button choosing 'Yes' and there you have it . Like someones calling me with a hidden number that makes it 'Unknown caller-calling' What's the purpose of that?? Wtf?

Complaint against Comet regarding a service repair charge? Sent my Samsung camera back to Comet for repair. 3 wks later Comet left a msg saying that the would charge me £75 for the repair. By accident, i was given the wrong number when i called an outlet in England, they thought i was looking for Samsung, when i got through to Samsung they said that my camera was ready to fix but it would cost only £42 this included delivery to my local comet store or home. I assumed that there must have been a mix up at comets end. I was given the option to pay on the phone or instore, i opted for instore. Now i've been contacted by Comet, they were unaware of me speaking to Samsung. They told me that it was them who did the repair and the total was £72 including parts and repair charge. When i msaid that this was not the case comet said that it was because they had to spend £30 on an envelope to send the camera 2 samsung. On my terms of repair it does not state anything with regard to postage costs only repair and parts cost. Are they right? Can i complain? Guys, i love you....thought i was going nuts (hugs) xxxx

What phone should I get? Hey up until fairly recently I have been using a skanky Samsung e330. Then it finally went crazy (after 6.5 years ish) and I got a cheap Nokia just as a replacement because I've never been too fussed about having the latest phone as I never really use them. However, this £30 Nokia which I have had little over a month (and stupidly threw away the receipt) is now flashing white every 3 seconds which is very frustrating. So I think it is about time to change my phone, also now I am texting a lot more and on pay as you go I'm using about £10 a week which is crazy. So as a 17 year old girl with a budget of approx £100 (this is an early Xmas present from mum, but I could also chip in if needed) what phone would you recommend? Something which is reliable, snazzy and preferably with a good camera. It's main use will just be texting really, and obviously the odd phone call. I already have an ipod so I don't want an iphone. Video Calling for T-mobile?!? I'm somewhat of a phone nerd :) I have t-mobile, and i currently have my very trusted and adored G1. I've had it ever since it was released so im looking into getting a new phone. The samsung Vibrant is very appealing to me. My hesitation to get it is because it lacks a front facing camera for video calling. Although it is not a necessary deal breaker it is still an awesome feature to have. As a couple phones in the U.S are now coming out with it im sure Tmobile is on their way of releasing FFC smartphones. What id like to know is: Is there any news on tmobile coming out with a new phone with a FFC in the near future? if so, id be willing to wait a little while to buy it rather than buying the vibrant and be stuck with it. Aka discontinue us as sprint customers. My mom said i can get a phone but ONLY from Boost Mobile or Virgin Mobile. I overall picked virgin cuz i liked they're cellphones more. My eyes have been on the Samsung Intercept. But i want Pros and Cons about the phone, Also is it like the epic with the 2 camera's? And can it download FREE apps for music? Samsung Omnia? Do I HAVE to sign up for the Email or Data usage? Ok soooo its time to renew my contract AND get a new phone in the process. Now I've been looking for a good phone at $100 or less with my rebate cost thing. And the Samsung Omnia falls right under that category, it has everything I need on it including a great 5 megapixel camera (my main reason on getting this. The flip shot kinda sucks). How to fix the micro SD card that is not recognized neither by phone nor by computer nor by photocamera.? I have 1GB micro SD card that came with one of the phones. It was working, but I wrote some files on it, but it took soooo long to write just couple MB to it that I had to pull adapter out of card reader. Then, when I inserted it back, some files were there, some not. When I tried to replace them with those I wanted to write I found out later that some creepy files with strange extensions were there along those files I need. I tried to delete everything except god files, and stuf like this, I oulled it out of the reader couple times. etc Now, it is not recognized by any of the SD capable devises I own. My PC (Win 7) don't see it, my phone (Samsung Intercept) don't see it as well and my camera says the SD card is locked or something like this. Please, how it is possible to fix it? I know it's only 1GB and it's easier to throw it out, but I want to fix it just because :-) Thanks!

Samsung Transform Ultra or Galaxy Prevail? I have boost mobile and have been looking to upgrade my phone but can't decide between these two. I currently have a Motorola Rambler, so it's not like it needs to have all the latest and greatest features, but I do want quite an upgrade. I mostly just talk and text, but I would like better email interface and capabilities, and an actually usable internet feature would be nice too. Anyone with a Samsung D900 Soul? I want to get my photos from my Soul to my laptop but am really really struggling!!! I have called the helpline and they got me to download the pc studio software from the website to my pc. I then plug in the USB cable and the 3 options 1)Media Player 2)PC Studio 3) Mass storage come up. If I choose Media Player it says initialising..on the phone, then I choose from my pc- my computer- camera- and click the icon to "get pictures from camera" but it says camera in use try again later. (my bluetooth isnt on, i have signal etc.) So I try PC Studio. A little computer icon comes up on my phone but then the PC studio link on my laptop says not connected however hard i try it says the phone is not connected to the pc. If i choose mass storage is just says insert memory card and nothing else. Please someone help...the helpline are rubbish..

External screen on Samsung SCHU-540 is broken? I've had my phone since June of 2008, and its been working fine. Last night I got a call from someone and I found out that my external screen was blank. Later that night I turned my phone on and off, hoping that it would fix the problem, but it didn't. The thing is, the backlight for the screen still comes on, and all the functions such as the camera still work, but nothing shows up on the display and it just shows black when it is lit up. Does anyone know how to fix this problem, or do I need to take it back to Verizon to get it fixed or replaced? Thanks in advance!

i havent had a mobile phone for years, what do i need to do when i first get one? im 33 live in england...im only on a small income living on benefits...the last mobile phone i bought was in 2006 but the battery ran flat and i havent bothered to use it for about two years since then. im quite behind with modern technology...especially the latest gadgets, hand held devices and mobile phones. im going to be getting a new phone for christmas by a family member as a gift....but it wont be an iphone sadly because their too expensive for us our family. probably a samsung or blackberry. but with so many features now on phones...apps and the internet on it and a camera etc...plug ins...mp3s on mobile phones and other features. when i get the new phone what are all the things i should do to get it all set up? ie- like download certain apps? or other instructions? and is it essential if you have some sort of modern mobile phone to have any other hand held gadget or device like an ipod or ipad etc? i couldnt afford another hand held device....not for sometime...but im obsessive about material items and feel that i need all the latest material possessions to be happy.....so that makes me miserable and tortured...............so it would be nice to be told i would be ok with just a brand new mobile phone.

how can I make video chat in my android? LG Dare or Samsung Omnia for verizon? Okay, so I'm getting a new phone! yay! I'm only fourteen so I don't need much of a business phone. Wont use: -internet -gps Need: -Texting -Camera -VIDEO (need, need, need...) -Games -Mp3 player -Space, lots of space xP Things I would prefer to have on it: -Internet (Useful in case I ever do want to use it) -Radio -Extra aps I can add -Nice looking I'm also scared of buying the LG Dare because I'm afraid that it'll be really outdated soon after I buy it and everything. That's what happened when I bought the razor. I loved it for about a month, and the next 23 months I wanted to murder it. Samsung Freeform 2 Internal Memory issues? I got a Samsung Freeform 2 phone from Metro in October. A month later, it says memory is full. I have NO images, ringtones or other such saved on the phone. I have 105 out of 500 contacts saved. That's all I have on the phone. I also have s micro SD card in the phone. Why is it still telling me the memory is full. I have been to the metro store twice now complaining of this and they played around with the phone. They admitted it shouldn't be happening, chalked it to camera resolution and changed the camera settings. This did not help. Still tells me there is no memory on the phone. No pictures, texts to or from, or ringtones are saved on the phone. Any ideas?

Which Smartphone should I get? Hello! I am looking into buying a Smartphone, but being me I wanna get one of the top end ones with all the latest and greatest. With this in mind I was going to go for the HTC Desire, or Samsung Galaxy S. I have a problem with the Samsung Galaxy S's size and build quality, it really does look like you're holding a tea-tray up to your ear while calling someone.. so while the screen is looooverly, I just don't know if I can forgive it's enormousness - not to mention it's plastically build quality. I also don't know what the speakers like for the Galaxy S. I also know that there is no flash on the camera, but apparently it doesn't really struggle too much in low lighting and it's got 8megapixels as opposed to 5megapixels with the Desire. The HTC Desire however has a lovely build quality, the screen is not as good but it is still very nice... and it just looks nicer and more compact (although I have got some kind of affinity to Samsung, I know they're good from experience...) Also, I have heard the HTC Wildfire's speakers and was not very impressed... are the Desire's speakers any better or are they tinny and nasty as well? So, to make up my mind could anyone answer these questions; 1. Can the HTC Desire playback HD movies? 2. Will there be an Android 2.2 Froyo update for the Desire/Galaxy S? (even if it isn't the Desire HD) 3. Is the Desire/Galaxy S Camera/Video Recording any good at all? 4. Is the sound quality better than that of the Wildfire? 5. Which phone has overall better sound quality? 6. What are the common problems with these phones (if any)? I was even thinking of waiting for the HTC Desire HD or the Desire Z... but honestly if it is bigger than the Samsung Galaxy S then I might as well make calls using my laptop.... Questions about Sony Ericsson Xperia X-10? I currently have a Sony Ericsson Xperia X-10 and while playing around with it, I have a few questions. First of all, while looking around, I noticed that there was a small discoloured oval at the top in between the notification light and the speaker, is this some sort of forward facing camera, or is it like a sensor? Secondly, I found out that google had just released Android Software 2.3.1 or Gingerbread to their phones, I tried to check for a software update and it said that I had the latest version of Android when it was only 2.1 (Eclair) even after Froyo and Gingerbread came out. Will the X 10 have 2.3 or will it stay at 2.1? Another question that I have is that while I was looking and playing around with the Samsung Galexy Tab, I found that when you view the apps, you view it similar to the iphone which is swiping it left and right. On the X-10, they just give you a long list when you view all of the apps. Is this some sort of setting that I don't know about, does this have to do with the phone's software, or is it just the difference between the Galaxy Tab and the X-10, or is it just the software. Lastly, when I just got this phone, I had it at a 1.6 software, the way to unlock it was like a quarter circle, when I updated the phone, I had something similar to the iPhone's unlock. Is there a way to switch back to the quarter circle unlock without downgrading? Could you do it by an app, or some settings. iPad 2 vs Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1? Alright well, I've done A LOT of research into the matter. I have a limited budget of around 600 dollars... which I want to use for apps and accessories as well. So probably 16GB Wifi on both models I've never owned a tablet, so I'm not too sure about what all the apps can do and how much space they take, but I have an iPod touch 4th gen 8gb, which I've filled, and had to delete a lot of music to make room for apps. I mainly use these devices for gaming, music and I'm looking to store several movies on my tablet, or atleast as many that fit. I also use them alot for video streaming and web browsing, but I don't think that would affect storage. iPad 2; LOTS OF APPS, and I really enjoy a lot of the games like Infinity Blade and find Garage Band and Pages very productive. No Flash - I'm not sure if that affects web browsing alot these days, but from what I've read, it makes a difference towards your experience. No expandable storage, and I'm looking to put a lot of apps, music, movies, or atleast as many as I can. REALLY bad cameras compared to the Galaxy Tab. A more square screen. Galaxy Tab 10.1 ; Runs Flash Expandable Storage, I would probably get a 1-2 TB external storage and store ALL my movies and music there, which would really come in handy instead of having to replace movies and music all the time to save space. Widescreen, better for movies, not so sure about the apps. Better software, yes apple is coming out with iOS 5, but its pretty much everything Honeycomb could do, months late. VERY few apps made for tablets, most are phone versions stretched out. I know Android is new, but with all the new android tablets coming out, very few tablet-apps are following.. I'm not trying to hate on Apple or Google, I just don't know which one to choose. What would you get? What do you mostly do with your tablet? How much storage do you think is good for me? I know I want an Android phone. I've seen and researched the new Samsung Vibrant, and I like everything about it except it doesn't have a flash for the camera. But I really want to have the newest, best phone they have. I don't want to get the vibrant and then a week later a brand new phone comes out. My Phone Has Been Royally Fucked. Help Please? So I aciddently forgot that my phone had been in my pant pockets and then I washed them... and dried them. After taking my pants out I realized just how bad I screwed up. I dried my phone out with rice and I can only do the following: Turn it on Call people It is a touch screen so most of the phones features are only accessible through the screen (which is now screwed up). Actually, the touch screen works but as soon as I open anything up, it automatically closes. When I turn the camera on, it constantly zooms in and everytime I try to zoom out it just zooms back in towards the highest it can go. I cannot take pictures as it will only revert to camcorder mode. P.S. It is a Samsung Rogue and I have Verizon. My contacts are still all there but I can't get to the page without it closing a few seconds later.

I have anger issues. Please help!? That is the conclusion i came to. Btw i am 16 years old. Here's the deal: I have the Sony Ericsson Satio. It costs between 500-600 dollars. I am very unsatisfied with the phone so i was angry and took it all out on the phone. It has a 12mpx camera, but i literary destroyed it with a screwdriver. Later i stabbed the display with the screwdriver making a hole, but not breaking the display, although it took a lot of hitting so it must be replaced as well. This anger runs in the family. My sister had a Samsung D-600, i got her angry and she threw the phone at the ground and broke the display. Later time my sister and mother were fighting and my mother grabbed another phone and she threw it, breaking it as well... It runs in the family. I want to get rid of this disease...the phone is a touchscreen and i broke it...moreover my family's on a contract so it must be paid for the next 18 months to come, and it's already broken....warranty is most probably void by now so i cannot use it! Htc Hero? Sprint? Help? Ok, so at the beginning of April i got a new phone. The rumor touch. We were available for a upgrade. But i didn't really like it, so i traded it in for the samsung exclaim (i didn't know you could only trade it in once). But i didn't like this one either. When we went to the Sprint store they said we couldn't trade it in again. Well when we got back home the phone was really bad. It still is. I get text messages late, slow web browsing, the camera is cheap and crappy, the interface is difficult to use, and the biggest problem is the damn lag. I have to wait until i get my rebate back to complain. Which i have not recieved yet. Its been 3 months. When i complain what will Sprint do? Will they allow me to get a different phone? I have kept really good care of this phone so it would not break. Please help?

Will i be able to get a new phone? So i have a problem.i have a Samsung Instinct with the Sprint service. My dog got a hold of my phone when i didnt know and started biting it. I found out about 5 minutes later that he had it and once i got it, i saw that the screen on the top corner is pulled up about an inch and the camera is broken. my mom's boyfriend is getting his daughter a new phone? I'm 12 years old. Ok, I know it sounds a little selfish but I'm mad. My mom's boyfriend of 5 almost 6 years bought his 13 year old daughter the Xenon. But first of all..... On christmas she got a go-phone. But when I got a full keyboard phone, the go phone wasn't good enough for her. So she asked her dad for the samsung propel. Well that brat got it. She is a brat. She's mean and snotty. Then we were at the mall one time. I dropped my phone, and said thank god it works. So she said If I drop my phone it won't break and she threw it at the ground. Five minuets later it wouldn't work. So she got her mom's old phone. She lives with her mom not us, she just visits. It was a regular one. It didn't have a camera or anything. So her dad says I'm gonna take your propel back. So he took her the next week for the xenon. I am really mad. She didn't tell him how it broke either. He is nice but still. He wouldn't buy me a 400 dollar phone. He already bought her the propel for like 200. We do not have that kind of money apparently anything for her though. Is it selfish that I'm mad? What do you guys think about all this?

Black roomate stole my television when I moved to a different apartment what do i do? When my roommate went back to chicago over thanksgiving break to his "homies" in the GD gang. I went to move to a different apartment. I brought everthing except my tv which i was planning on doing the next day. It was a 30" Samsung HDTV. I figured a few days later that it was he who took it after listening to him talk on the phone when he thought i was asleep. (he moved in with me/ i live in aprtments on college campus and they decided to move him in with me again) He helped his brother unload it into the car and afterwards his brother took it back to his own place in chicago. There weren't enough cameras to catch him. Is there any hope in getting my tv back? what should do i do?

What phone should I get? Hey, up until fairly recently I have been using a skanky Samsung e330. Then it finally went crazy (after 6.5 years ish) and I got a cheap Nokia just as a replacement because I've never been too fussed about having the latest phone as I never really use them. However, this £30 Nokia which I have had little over a month (and stupidly threw away the receipt) is now flashing white every 3 seconds which is very frustrating. So I think it is about time to change my phone, also now I am texting a lot more and on pay as you go I'm using about £10 a week which is crazy. So as a 17 year old girl with a budget of approx £100 (this is an early Xmas present from mum, but I could also chip in if needed) what phone would you recommend? Something which is reliable, snazzy and preferably with a good camera. It's main use will just be texting really, and obviously the odd phone call. I already have an ipod so I don't want an iphone.
