How can I ad GPS to an LG KU990 phone? I'm thinking of buying the LG phone with the 5 Megapixel camera. However, the only thing that this phone is missing is a GPS system. I'm wondering how difficult it would be to connect it with a GPS receiver. What are the exact steps to get GPS for this phone? From my understanding I don't just need a GPS mouse, but I also need the right program on the phone. Where do I get this from? Is it complicated to install? (I'm not a computer wizard) What are the costs approximately? (I'm based in Spain, in case that makes a difference...) Ideally I would like to be able to use GPS in every european country. Is that possible? Or do you think it is less complicated to take the Nokia N95, which is actually a little bit to big for my taste. Can i use the 12 volt usb charger that came with my GPS to charge my new LG enV cell phone in the car? The connection on the phone is the same as the connection on the Tom-Tom GPS. If the same cord can be used on the phone, I won't have to spend extra bucks for a car charger.

Which LG phone should I get? I'm opening an at&t account and I'm still indecisive about which phone to get. I can't decide which LG phone to get. I like LG Xenon, LG Vu and LG incite for different reasons. What I like about the Xenon is that it has a full keyboard for texting. On the LG Renoir phone, how do you link your 3G internet to the internal GPS? You have to be connected to the internet, to view maps through the GPS. I can view Google Maps while connected to a wireless network, but when connected to 3G internet the maps don't load. Do you have to use a certain internet browser, or input special settings, to use Google Maps with 3G internet? The LG Renoir comes with a poorly explained instruction manual, which is why I need your help. I'm using the Opera internet browser, if that helps.

Why won't Google Maps load on my LG Renoir Phone? I'm going abroad soon, and need to use Google Maps while I'm away. Recently my Google Maps app on my LG Renoir does not load; it just spends ages trying to load the maps and says "0 KB Routing" in the corner of the screen, but it never loads. It also says there's a problem with my 3G connection, but I have no problem surfing the internet via 3G and Opera browser. Also, when I try to find my location via the phone's GPS, Google Maps say "Sorry, My Location is not available on this device" How do I fix these errors?

Can My Parents track me through my cell phone? Hi, I recently got a new phone (LG Tritan) and it has a GPS system, but that only works if my location is turned on (which I leave turned off). I was just wondering if it were possible for my parents to track me down even though my location is set to 911 only. Does verizon cell phone internet include GPS and TV? I know, It' s getting old, but it still can play youtube and anything like that unlike most Verizon phones,,,, the LG Voyager. I'm getting it pre-paid, verizon told me I can, now you can make almost any phone pre-paid with data plans, but the EnV2 and LG Voyager are the only 2 phones that I like and don't need data plans,,, so anyways... can the LG Voyager play TV if I have unlimited internet? I'm sometimes going to get the internet thing where you pay a dollar any day you choose for unlimited internet for 24HRS but if I do have unlimited internet does that mean I can use the GPS and the mobile TV with that? Is GPS free if you have the unlimited data plan on the lg droid? I think my friend told me that on his droid he got the unlimited data plan and that he could use the GPS without paying the $9.99 a month fee that you are charged for gps on the other Verizon phones. When I called Verizon they told me that was not the case. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Mobile phone GPS question? I want to get a good cell phone which can double as a GPS "without" data connections. I am looking to getting the LG optimus one p500 smartphone. Why does the latest version of Google Maps, not work properly with the LG Renoir phone? I had a two year old version of Google Maps on my LG Renoir phone, but recently upgraded to the latest version. For some reason, the latest version can't pick up my location using the internal GPS on my phone. The previous version of Google Maps detected my GPS with no problems, but the new version says it's not available through my device, and won't get a fix on my location. Has anyone else had this problem, whereby the latest Google Maps won't detect your location on the LG Renoir? Can this be fixed, and if not, how can a get hold of the previous version of Google Maps?
Chinese Input, GPS, on LG Renoir...? So..I got the LG Renoir, but there's a little problem. I can't get the GPS to work, so I'm thinking that there must be some other GPS software that I have to install on the Renoir to use it without having to use Google Maps. Also, this phone reads Chinese characters (fortunately), but doesn't support chinese input. I would really appreciate any help I can get for these problems. Firstly, what free software can I get online to enable me to put chinese characters inputs into text messaging or any form of typing on the phone? Does it include a chinese language pack so that I can also view or manage the phone in chinese? Secondly, is there a GPS software from online (free or not) that can be installed onto the Renoir so that I can use the GPS free of charge, just like a normal GPS navigation? Thanks in advance! LG Rumor Touch: Can you use the phone while it's recharging? I know some phones warn against using the phone while it's in recharging mode but it appears that is not the case for the Rumor Touch. I would want to leave it plugged into the car charger so that I can use the GPS navigation without running down the battery. Anybody got first hand experience with it?

Can an AT&T customer buy an unlocked verizon phone (the LG Dare)? I am currently an AT&T customer and must stay that way because it's the only service that offers reception in my area. I am purchasing a new phone and am really impressed with the specs of an LG Dare. (I looked at the LG Vu and wasn't impressed. I want a better GPS and camera than an iphone also, so please don't just suggest I look into another phone.) The Dare is only for use with Verizon. Phone: LG Rumor........? I'm getting a phone through sprint soon, im getting the rumor, it will come with unlim txt, unlim pix, unlim net, unlim downloads, check ur yahoo etc. , and even GPS . My dad has the same phoen with the same stuff he is currently paying 69.99 for his plan (he made deposit on his phone and the phone was "free") , if my dad adds a line he will only have to pay 9.99 for a xtra line and 9.99 to increase the minutes ($20) so i would be getting a brand new fone w/o a deposit or paying for it and all of those features for only $20 a month, my dad has tryed to scan his contract like a laser but he can't find any "strings attached" . is this really a good deal or just too good to be true?

Free GPS Program for My Alltel Cell Phone? my cell phone is with Alltel, its a LG AX380 Wave, i've called Alltel, and it can be GPSed, so i was wondering if you know of a program i can download so that i can GPS my cellphone, my mom's or my nephews. the reason for all of these is so they know where i'm at, so we know where my nephew is at, who lives with us and my mom is always wanting to know where he is at and sometimes we can't get him to answer his phone, and as for my mom, its because sometimes she goes in trips and gets lost even when i use Google Earth or other online sites. by the way, i need to be able to find out where they are online. and in case it matters, my computer is a Vista. I can use Alltel, but it costs $10 a month for each phone, but if i can do it without that extra $10 a month, i would love to use it. Also let me know if i have to register with the site. Is there anyway to get the program to integrate with Google Earth, because that would make things a lot easier to use.
Phone Choices. LG VU or Samsung Eternity? Or another phone similar to it with AT&T under 75 bucks. I like the touch screen and I won't have the TV, GPS, or Internet functions. I have and am staying with AT&T.
Which GPS systems have Bluetooth that is compatible with Verizon phones? I'm looking to buy a GPS system, but I want one that has hands-free calling through Bluetooth. Would the LG Lotus be a good phone for me? Okay, I am a strictly and texting and calling kinda girl. I don't use internet, GPS, stuff like that. And most of the time I don't use music either. where can i get free apps for the lg renoir? ive bought an lg renoir with orange. where/how can i download free apps (also if anyone knows) how can i use gps with orange. i heard the network disabled this which is disgusting as they never told me when i purchased the phone on contract.
is the lg rumor a good phone or not? i think it is an awesome phone, especially for me. i am 14 years old but havent been using my phone much since i got it in 7th grade. i text soooo much more than i call anyone [i think its akward...] haha but anyway... this phone has facebook, email, text messaging, and AIM, things that i use on a day-to-day basis. it even has a GPS thingy mabob, that shows to my parents where i am. they probably wont even use it, but just in case im MIA! and i dont mind if they know where i am, i dont go anywhere thats horribly evil or anythingg.... but yea, ive had a virgin mobile slice since the end of 7th grade, which sucked sort of like A LOT! the service is horrible, you shouldve heard the message i left for my mom to pick me up from my theatre meeting. it was horrible. i just really badly need a new phone, and my dad is probably the cheapest dad i know. he has to "research" the phone before he gets it for anyone, which i am doing right noww.... well thanks so much, please leave good pros and cons!!!!! sorry, a little confusing in the beginning as i read this over. ive been texting a lot lately [esp in the beginning of high school] because ive been making loads of plans, and etc... thankx.
