Nokia N70 cell phone lense capaacity is 2 MP. Can this lense be substituted to higher mega pixle lense.? Presently I am using Nokia N70 cell phone. The capacity of the lense provided in the camera is 2 megapixles. After taking some stills and videos in this, my mind is forced to put this question: Whether a higher mega pixle lense either 5, 8 or 10 can be substituted in place of 2 mega pixle lense in the camera cell phone. If this is possible, whether the existing software / hardware available in the phone can accommodate the higher megapixle lense. What will be the technical effects for the phone if this is done. This i thought of to obtain / capture stills and videos with higher and clear resolution outputs. Purchasing of latest camera cell phones with upgraded lense then and there will cost more and the disposal of the existing phones will also result in loss. How do I use the small camera on the inside of the Nokia 7390? I read on a review that it is there for taking self portraits but I can find nothing in the manual to tell me how to actually turn it on. On the diagram of the phone in the manual, it labels the small camera and the flash sensor but there doesnt seem to be any mention of it later in the manual. Why isn't my real player playing mobile videos? I always use my phone camera (Nokia 8620) and when I upload it to my computer and try to watch it on real player an error occurs and it closes by itself. What Nokia is good? I'm looking for buy a Nokia phone but no idea which one is good. I live in Asia so my options are a lot wider than NA's phones =) It has to be relatively new so it's stylish but it doesnt have to be one of the latest model. 3.2 megapixel versus 8 megapixel camera on a mobile phone? I went to upgrade my mobile phone with vodaphone yesterday. I wanted the LG Renoir becuase of the look of the phone and the 8megapix camera however the nice man at Vodafone told me that they do not stock these phones. He later went onto say that Vodaphone would no longer stock any LG phones as there has been a HUGE fall out between them and that vodafone and LG would never work together again. Disappointed as i was, i asked what he could offer me. He offered me the sony ericsson c905 which i know has a good 8 megapix camera and good features etc however it is too bulky for me. He then offered me an excellent deal on the nokia 5800 which is a good looking phone with some nice features however it only has a 3.2 mega pix camera. When i shunned that phone because of the camera he said "do you know that the number of megapixels a camera has only makes a difference when you print the pictures out sheets larger than A4. Is this correct? Is a 3.2 mega pixel just as good as an 8 mega when not printing the photos? I am not fussed about changing camera settings and other cemra type gimicks - i just want good photos Any advice or info you could give would be greatly appreciated Thanks

Nokia 5310 - what do you think? Hi, Im thinking of purchasing the nokia 5310 later today. The features that I would use very often would be the music player, fm radio, (txting and making calls of course). However, I have read that the sound, while good, is quite low. Is this true? Also, Ive read the battery life is quite bad with reports of the phone only lasting a mere 2 days. What has failed to be mentioned is, is this 2 days with the phone being used contantly or is this 2 days with the phone being used moderately. I take the bus into and home from work everyday and each journey (in and out) lasts about 2 hours. During my journeys i would be playing music or listening to the radio. Other than these journeys, the phone would be pretty much idle throughout the day. In this case, would the battery still only last a maximum of 2 days? Another aspect is the camera. I have read the camera is choppy and not good at all. Is this true? What phone would you recommend for around 300$? Unlike most people my age, I enjoy using the latest phones. I was carrying the Nokia 6760 for the time being because it was laying around after my old phone broke. I'm going to see how much I can get for it, and add around 300$ to buy a new phone. First question, what do you think I can get for a fairly conditioned 6760? And, what would you recommend for my price range? I generally like a a QWERTY keyboard, or a touch-screen phone. I don't like having a sliding phone though, after my experience with the 6760 (which I loved overall though). A good camera isn't a must, but anything 5MP+ would certainly be a big plus. I generally like Nokia, never tried a BlackBerry (but BlackBerry Messenger doesn't interest me), not a big fan of iPhones, would be interested in trying a Windows Phone (7). So, any recommendations? Wouldn't mind anything with Android too.

What smartphone is best for me? Htc wildfire s or nokia 700 ? I want to buy a new smartphone, my first smarphone, ive seen nokia 700 and htc wildfire s . Firstly nokia 700 cought my eye i really like the design and the display,bright screen with a lot of colors!!! nokia 5800 XM restarts itself after being turned on its a cycle please help!!? hi, ever since i got my nokia 5800 XM it did come with some bugs. probably just lucky me to get the faulty one... i had stuff like the music player could mute itself and id have to turn the vol up a notch for it to un-mute even if it was on full vol. a short time after that it started doing other things; the on-screen keyboard kept disappearing and reappearing, this was extreamly annoying, then the hud wouldnt reappear after it timed out on the camera. then later on i couldnt record as long as i want, it would just time out at random as the whole phone would freeze for a second and thats what stopped the recording. now just yesterday i put it on charge and went out. i come back to it to see that the screen hadn't timed out. and and it was still charging, i took it off charge to lock it and all the buttons had stopped working it just froze. i took the battery out and turned it on. now once its finished turning on it just looks like colourful liquid drains out the screen and it restarts itself and the screen is fine then once it loads again it does the same, now its a cycle and i just cant use my phone. it has got worse later along the line. any solutions?

Nokia C6 and seawater. HELP !? I was just sitting there on the beach and a huge wave washed over me , my phone wasin my hand and it got wet , I was listening to music at that time and I immediately got up and disconected the headphones but did not switch off the phone , but later the screen went black and I took out the battery later on. Then I left the phone to dry and again put in the battery and tried to switch it on, The camera's flash lit up and then died , I disconnected it immediately and after some time tried again but this time when I put in the battery , I could hear a slow sizzling sound so I dint switch it on and put it out to dry again. problem in nokia 7210? Dear friends I bought my nokia 7210 in 2009.In 2010,after the warranty period expired, the software of this phone got totally damaged.I only could saw a white screen then.So I took the phone to the nearest shop.They took it and installed a new 7210 software which I doubt is duplicate.Everything was working fine then.1 week later suddenly my phone memory became free and I saw there was nothing in the phone memory,not even the ring tones or alarm tones from Nokia.Apart from that the mobile malfunctions very much.Sometimes the camera does not work or I am unable to open my in- box . Every time I have to return it to the factory settings. My question is what should I do now?I have a computer.Can I install the software by my computer?Or should I take it to the Nokia Care. Computer / nokia illiterate and need help? I have been trying for months now to get my nokia PC Suite to reconize my phone when I attach it. Today I decided to spend a little time following the trouble shooting steps etc etc,.. I have a USB hub with several things attached.. my ipod charger, my digital camera cord, my cell phone cord etc.. As suggested I went into device manager then to Univ. seriel bus controllers to check things out and I have as follows.. (3) listed as VIA Rev 5 or later USB host controllers, (1) standard enhanced PCI to USB host controller, (2) generic USB hubs, (3) USB root hubs, (1) USB 2.0 root hub, (1) USB printing support, & 1 unknown device. When checking properties everything says they are working except the unknown device. I am jumping to the assumption it's the cell connection since it's the only thing not working. It gives me the option to update drivers then when I tell it to it scans forever and says it cant find it. Am I even on the right track here?? * 1 hour ago * - 3 days left to answer. Additional Details 1 hour ago I assumed if the nokia PC was up to date the drivers would be included in that? Like I said am totally illiterate so I could be wrong ... 55 minutes ago Just followed Computer docs advice.. only thing listed as a "problem device? is motorola drivers.. havn't had a motorola in ages.. but now I know why that connecting to the computer never worked either 49 minutes ago And I just tried downloading my phone drivers seperately .. it said the ones I was attempting to download were older then the ones in Nokia PC Suite so they wouldn't install.. grr..

I wanna buy a new phone. Need suggestions and pss... I'm NOKIA USER LOVER :D? Currently I'm using Xpress Music 5320. Well it might be sooo 2000-and-late version compare to iPhone4 and BB but I love it. It's almost 3 years I've been using it and it's starting to mess up and I seriously need a new one. Nokia 6700 slide OR Samsung MONTE? I am planning to buy a phone in the price range of anything below Rs. 10000. As far as what I have decided based on the market analysis is that 1. Nokia 6700 slide 2. Samsung Monte are the "worth your money" mobiles under Rs.10000. But again both these mobiles have their own disadvantages. In 6700 there is no WiFi, also it lacks on the style, comparatively, but it has 5MP cam with dual flash. While the Monte has only a 3.2MP camera and no flash too. Also, Monte has got a negative review on part of its smartphon'ing ability, with very less RAM tending most of its applications useless. But the phone is very very stylish and I would definitely love to have it in my hand. So i'm terribly confused to take a decision. Hence is this poll here in yahoo. Tell me which mobile to choose of these two. Or suggest me a mobile that you feel is better than these two mobiles, which also is in the same price range, without compromising on the features of both these mobiles. Or do you want me to wait for the latest releases or any particular mobile that you are expecting to be released anytime soon.

What phone should I get? Hey up until fairly recently I have been using a skanky Samsung e330. Then it finally went crazy (after 6.5 years ish) and I got a cheap Nokia just as a replacement because I've never been too fussed about having the latest phone as I never really use them. However, this £30 Nokia which I have had little over a month (and stupidly threw away the receipt) is now flashing white every 3 seconds which is very frustrating. So I think it is about time to change my phone, also now I am texting a lot more and on pay as you go I'm using about £10 a week which is crazy. So as a 17 year old girl with a budget of approx £100 (this is an early Xmas present from mum, but I could also chip in if needed) what phone would you recommend? Something which is reliable, snazzy and preferably with a good camera. It's main use will just be texting really, and obviously the odd phone call. I already have an ipod so I don't want an iphone. Problem with my contract/phone? Im currently with o2 and have a W910i SE as most people may know its the phone from hell after a total farse i have had it repaired 4times and even been given a new one but guess what it is still broken. I was told they would send away an email to find out if i could get given a new model. They got a reply and phoned me but i was at work, i phoned them the next day,Mon twice but no reply, went in the store on the Tues got told id be phoned on the Wed because it had to be the particular person that dealt with me I spoke to because it went to their email (what a great idea that is), nothing on Wed or Thurs, went in the store on Fri got told i would get phoned on the Sat nothing on the Sat or the Sun, I phoned the store twice on the Mon nothing went in again on the Tues, we will phone you tomorrow definetly guess what they never but i finally got a hold of the person I needed and they never had a clue what I was on about 10min later I finally get somewhere and get offered the following phones Mot ROKR E8 - small screen, low talk time SE K800i - camera phone not walkman (not available in store or online) SE 580 - was told it was a downgrade by o2 person (not available instore or online) Nokia N80 - has software problems, insult i was offered that (not available instore or online) Nokia 6500 classic - has no radio and no expansive memory I got told all they had to offer me where phones with the same specs yet these dont have that. Ive been told they will email off again and ask but dont think anything will change. Is there any way I can get out of this contract because im sick of the phone and the service or anyway I can get a better phone? Nokia 5800 wont turn on!? I have a nokia 5800 that i got off my friend. It worked fine the first day. I went on the internet etc. I charged it that night and my alarm went off that morning and i turned the alarm off. 20 minutes later i looked at the phone and it was off. I have tried charging it and the reset thing where you hold the green, red and camera button and then hit the power button but that doesnt work either. when i hit the power button the screen lights up black/navy but turns off when i take my finger off the button! Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

Worth waiting for a N900 or buy a iPhone 3GS..? Basically I really wanted an iPhone I waited to see how the apps would work on the new phone and the touch screen and apps look awesome with the latest processor inside the iPhone. I then noticed that Nokia was releasing this new phone N900 soon probably next month.. It seems to have the same insides to a certain extent except it uses Linux Maembo OS. Are they pretty much the same? I know the camera is better on the N900, That's not really why you buy a phone, So that doesn't really matter. I believe the iPhones touchscreen cannot be beaten by any other phone. Is anybody else in my position? or can somebody explain to me abit better main difference..
