Questions about music and headphones for Verizon Wireless LG Versa cell phone? Converting from 3.5 to 2.5? I bought the LG Versa phone with Verizon Wireless in March 2009. I bought it mainly because it was a music phone, and I wanted to be able to play my music on it - as I had before with my LG Chocolate 2. But, the headphone jacks are different sizes. The phone size is 2.5mm, and the headphones size is 3.5mm. So, I had bought a converter a long time ago for my Chocolate, and it had worked great. And it did for a little while with my new phone. But, as it was a cheap converter, it died. Now, every STEREO converter that I buy, plays in mono (only in 1 ear), because they aren't formatted for a cell phone. Anyway, I called Verizon about this, and have talked to 5 different people about it last night. They looked and looked, and basically all of their converters were on clearance and are now not available (which means that they won't get any more). They told me that my only option was a Stereo Bluetooth Headset through them that is $100!! And, they aren't earbuds - it is big and wraps around my head! The rep flatout told me that there is no reason to buy a music phone with a 2.5mm headset jack unless I want to spend another $100 and look like a dork, because I have no way to listen to my music. Is there any way that Verizon could possibly let me get a different phone, since I got the last phone made with a 2.5mm headset jack? All the ones after mine have the standard 3.5mm jack. I told the rep when I bought the phone - that I was buying it for music, and he said that it wouldn't be a problem. In less than 2 years, I have gone through 8 LG Chocolate 2s, b/c they all had problems, and were still under warranty. Can I use this for my benefit? I spent hours and hours and days upon days with them. And the closest store is 35 minutes away! Any insight would be great! I WILL CHOOSE BEST ANSWERS. BE THOROUGH. Does verizon wireless allow 2 cell phones to be on the 450-minutes per month plan? I'm thinking about getting the LG env 2 and there's a deal with it that says you get one free. But 700 minutes minimum for a family plan every month is a bit much, so is there a way that I can use the 450 minutes for both the phones?

Verizon Wireless Cell Phones. Which One Should I get? At the moment I have the Motorola Q. I'm a little bored/disappointed with it. It has a lot of great features, I love the QWERTY keypad, I love that it's different and I don't see many people with the same phone as me. But I don't like that it is Windows Mobile. I miss the standard Verizon Wireless settings. (Which this phone doesnt have) I was looking at the LG Dare and it looks really neat and I love that it has a 3.2 mega pixel camera but I don't know if the touch screen is going to be a problem or not. Cell Phone problem: LG Verizon Wireless Phone please read details? I have an LG Verizon Wireless Phone. I was sending myself ringtones and the "sending" screen showed up and it said "connecting" which ment the message was gonna show up. I want to get the blue LG Chocolate 3 from Verizon. I wanted to get it from Best Buy, but the don't carry the blue, only the black. Overall, it would be cheaper to get it from Best Buy because in contrast to going through the Verizon Store, there's no activation fee from, and the rebate is given automatically, which means I wouldn't have to wait six weeks for the fifty dollar rebate (which I would even get in "debit card" form, and I don't want that). Still, I would really prefer the blue phone. Which leads me to my question. If I go to Verizon, can I negotiate the price of the cell phone (maybe down enough just to cover the activation fee) or negotiate getting rid of the activation fee? I just want to know whether or not the prices of cell phones are negotiable at a Verizon store, and if not, what IS negotiable at the actual Verizon store? Are discounts on other things negotiable, maybe? If I can't, is it really worth it to pay the extra money (through activation fee, original price (regardless of the mail in rebate), etc.?) for the blue phone? I suppose not, but... =\

If NO – this question will be a waste of your time, unless your simply hungry for 2 quick points. If YES – have you ever looked "really close" at your itemized bill for line items your paying for, but don't use intentionally...specifically WAP.CINGULAR charges? My LG Shine connects to the internet when the track ball on the front is held in for less than a second. Needless to say, when it's in the holder on my belt, it will connect to the internet by itself. Last month I was charged almost $3.00 for nothing. The "less that 1-second button internet activation flaw" was a specification in the phone design to LG from AT&T! This is almost $40.00 a year they are extorting from people who have no clue what's happening if their not paying attention. Rather that add a feature to let the user dictate how long the button "needs" to be held in to actually connect, AT&T set it up for under a second hold time. Every time the button is pressed accidentally, YOUR PAYING FOR IT! Have a look at you bill. If you see "wap.cingular" on your bill (or connected to JAVA on your phone display) and you don't actually surf from your phone, it's costing you money. Trouble with LG CG300 cell phone? hi, my dad has a cingular LG CG300 wireless phone and it messed up somehow. he cant call anybody, none of the buttons will work, its kind of like his keypad just locked but he never had a password or anything to set it to lock before. he can recieve calls but you cant hear what anybody is saying. he really needs this fixed because it is his work phone and since it is sunday, the cingular store isnt open. he needs this fixed today because he works out of town and he leaves tonight. help is much appreciated! oh, and we have an extra cell phone, and we put his sim card in there and it wouldnt work. do u have any suggestions on that?
