My cell phone covers are ruining my phone? A few months ago I bought an LG Rumor (White) to replace a broken Katana II. When I bought the Rumor, I also bought a couple snap-on covers for my phone, figuring they'll add color and help protect the phone. Today I took a case off to wipe down the phone and put a different case on. The metal trim around the screen is all scratched off, and so is part of the Sprint Logo. My sister and mom have the same phone, but have not used any covers for their phone. Both are in better condition, and do not have all the scratches. All of the scratches are where the cover was. What should I do about this? Obviously I won't buy any more covers, but that doesn't change the fact that my phone has all these scratches on it from these covers. I've had this cell phone for only a few months and it looks worse than phones I have had for years. I'm really upset that these so-called "protective" cases have damaged my cell phone. Also, the inside of the phone (where the Rumor logo is when the phone is opened) has cracks where the case clipped on. So not only is my phone scratched, it is also cracked.

How do i get water out of my cell phone and my phone back to working condition? My cell phone (LG 3300) was recently poured on with rain and some of the water got in. Rash caused by cell phone? I recently got a new cell phone (LG Chocolate 3) and it had a rubber cover on it. Within a few hours, I had itchy little red bumps (rash-like) on my neck and within hours it had spread to my entire face. I'm not allergic to rubber, latex, nickel, or anything that I'm aware of. Could my rash be caused by my new phone or cover? I removed the cover and have taken some medication and I await to see if there are any improvements. The rash is only on my face and upper neck, mostly on my cheeks and forehead.

GSM Cell Phone, Help Please!!? I recently bought a new, unlocked GSM cell phone. I purchased the triband phone that covers 900/1800/1900mHz. It is the LG KG800 chocolate phone. I made and received calls at first, but now it keeps telling me that I can only make emergency calls. I was told the check the network, but there are like 100 choices. Advice on which cell phone to buy? My old motorolla krazr broke and I am buying a new phone tomorrow. I had tons of problems with the krazr and want to make sure the next phone I have is going to be sturdy and reliable. My phone company is verizon and I would like to spend between $50 and $200. Having a camera phone is also important to me because my camera also broke recently so I would like to get a phone that can cover that as well. Having problems with making phone calls on my cell? Ok so, I recently got a brand new phone, and it has the sim card, the battery. and the service bars are usually full, BUT whenever I try to make a call or have someone call ME, it says "Service Unavailable" and the manual doesn't cover that so I can't figure out why the hell it's doing that. Is a cell phone still good if you change carriers and want to use it? I asked this question earlier, but got no response from anyone... About 2-3 years ago, I changed from Verizon to AT&T and kept the same phone number and bought an LG-4400 (which was top of the line at the time) and when I switched carriers, I bought a Samsung camera phone. Last weekend, I accidently left my phone (the Samsung) in my pocket and it went through the washing machine with the power on. I've tried to let it dry out and it also has a gray halo-like appearance in the display screen and I haven't charged it to see if it still might work. I would like to use my LG phone and when I powered it on, it showed Verizon all over the display screen. I have kept the same phone number with both Verizon and AT&T. Can I use the old cell phone? If the answer is Yes, do I need to notify AT&T that I've changed phones? Will there be billing issues with Verizon and AT&T since Verizon is marked all over the display screens (even though I own the phone)? I have the insurance on my phone, but I can't afford the $50 to get my phone replaced (and I'm not sure if water damage would be something that would be covered, either). Does anyone know?
