Will Nextel ever make a PowerSource cell phone that is not Motorola? I really want to get a Nextel PowerSource phone but I really don't like Motorola phones or the Blackberry. I prefer LG, Samsung, or Sanyo but 99.9% of Nextel's phones are Motorola. I asked a Nextel customer service rep if there will ever be a non-Motorola phone since PowerSource uses both CDMA and iDEN but they replied that they are not authorized to divulge that kind of information. But if they have full internet browser access and all sorts of apps, what differentiates these from smartphones? Can you make any AT&T cell phone a GoPhone? Alright well this is what I am planning on doing... I am going to buy a cheap GoPhone and activate it with the $39.99 'pick your plan' deal. Then buy a new unlocked phone (LG Xenon) that is compatitable with AT&T and put the sim card into that phone. So my question is, will I have the GoPhone plan on the LG Xenon? The 'pick your plan' will have both data and messaging features, so will I be able to call, browse the internet, instant message, and text with my LG Xenon? I was told yes, but I just want to make sure so I am not wasting money on something that won't even work. And also, will the LG Xenon's 3G compatability still work with the GoPhone plan?

Tips on Manually Changing a Cell Phone Number? My wife and I have recently renewed our Verizon contract, and in doing so changed from 2 Motorola RazR phones to 2 LG 8350 phones. We spend about $50 a month on those phones. I was looking at Sprint phones and i saw the Rumor by LG and i thought that'd be perfect. I could get the $49.99 plan with 450 anytime minuets, unlimited texting, unlimited mobile to mobile and unlimited nights and weekends. Then i saw add a line for $10 and i thought that'd be perfect only $10 more a month and i get a mp3 player out of the deal (mine just broke). so overall the total with the phone and the plan would be $99.99. Then after the 1st payment i'd add a line and it'd be $59.99 a month. So i was wondering if there was a better deal i could get form Verizon or Alltel. (remember i still want a qwerty music phone and unlimited texting.) Thanks in Advance

AT&T Cell Phone Question? Ok, so I want to get a cell phone for my b-day on Dec 9. I want to share a plan with my aunt who lives in San Jose, CA (I live in Fairfax, Virginia). This means we'll be sharing minutes and stuff. I want to get either the LG VU or AT&T Quickfire as my cell phone. Here are some questions: 1. Att.com says that the LG VU is not available in San Jose. Can I still get the phone? Remember, my aunt owns the account, so SHE has to get the phone set up, not me. 2. The LG VU and the AT&T Quickfire both sell for $299.99(No commitment) They also both sell for $149.99 with a two year contract. Do I qualify for the two year contract price of 149.99 even though I'm just adding a line? Thanks! Oh yeah, my aunt already has an account. She's not starting a new one.

Verizon wireless cell phone insurance help? I have the total equipment coverage (I believe; its the 6.99 or 7.99 monthly one on an "advanced device") on my lg enV Touch which I have had since last September before the 9.99 monthly dxata plan was required for this cell phone. I was told by a verizon worker that if I need this phone replaced, the replacement would need this data plan. My parents said I can not get the replacement if I need this data plan because they already pay for the insurance/ plan. I offered to pay it myself but they pointed out that they are my only source of income, yet they will not let me get a job. Now my brother broke my phone (touch screen and camera are shattered) because he was mad at me for something I was unaware of and my little bro and I have to pay the $89 deductable to file the claim on my phone (split it 50/50). I noticed that through the insurance papers that the phone will be replaced with a new or "certified like new" replacement phone. The last thing I want is to be without a phone, but I would hate paying for a refurbished phone and will be very angry if the phone I get is refurbished. Are there any loopholes or any ways of pursuading verizon to give me a NEW phone without the "required" data plan??? Thanks for any help!!! P.s. my other option is purchasing a new (no contract) lg dare off of ebay to put on my current line because after the $89 insurance claim fee and $10 a month this would be cheaper and the Dare has none of the problems of the enV Touch. Cell Phone question. Please answer? I'm deciding to get a need phone and get rid of my crappy LG Scoop and I can't decide which phone to get: The Samsung Delve or MOTO Q. They both look like good phones and I would like to have either one. The deal in my area for the phones are $49.99 for The Samsung Delve and the MOTO Q is free. As eager as I am to jump for the MOTO Q because of the price, I'm hesistant because I have a feeling there is a reason the MOTO Q is free.
