Att Phone Repair Service Knowledge Base

SBC ATT really bad repair service? Do you think that they don`t care as they have monopoly over the market? Waited 2 weeks for them to install the phone. Then wanted me to wait a week to repair my phone as there was no dial tone. I am moving to VOIP.
I have downed phone lines in my backyard. Were installed by a co. ATT took over, ATT refuses to repair. Sug? The lines were taken out during a storm and have made many phone calls to AT&T, I have ISP phone service, so the lines are not in use, however I cannot get AT&T out to fix them. Any suggestions on who to call and report this to?

ATT dumb worker cut off service? So on Friday 8/8/08, one of the ATT technician guy came out to do some work on the phone box outside. He cut all the our line. We don't have services w/ ATT but our tenant purchase the ATT U-verse. When they came out to do all the wires, they had cut our line, put the tenant line into our line. So whoever was calling our tenant was calling us and whoever was calling us wasn't getting anyone. Yesterday another ATT guy came out to fix the problem, he wouldn't fix our line. He said they only got the order to fix the tenant's line. So what he did was put us out of service and put the tenant back in service. He told me I should call my phone company and have them send someone out to fix it. The thing is ATT did the damage ATT should be the one to repair it. We didn't ask to cut our line. The man ATT sent out didn't even know what he was doing. Even if he didn't tell my tenant could see due to how he was working. Now I don't have any phone service b/c ATT's worker cut our line off. I shouldn't have to call my phone company to fix it since it was ATT's fault. All I want now is for ATT to send someone out ASAP to fix what they messed up. Who should I contact? My phone company? or ATT? I contacted ATT via internet yesterday and haven't heard anything yet. what should I do or what am i suppose to do? any suggestion would help.

Spiritually speaking, how do you send an email to ATT customer service? I dare you to find away.? Yes, I went to att.com. Yes, I am questioning a repair order. IF I COULD CALL THEM I WOULD, although it is next to impossible to get a live person there either. The site asks 'Ask a Question'. I did, and this was the question: "how do i send an email to att customer service? " FIFTY possible questions came up and NOT ONE ADDRESSED CONTACTING ATT!!!!! When I try to sign in, it does not recognize my id and password. When I enter my phone number it says that no such number exists. I DESPISE ATT. I HATE DIRECT TV. Why did I ever leave Time Warner? I was trying to save some money, and I did for one year, until the promotion period was over. I guess the Village Atheist (NOT) can't read. no phone DSL Internet problems? I tried to install ATT wireless and it wouldn't install at all . So I called ATT customer support ,I didn't get none ,zero nada sip,I was refer to a repair service contractor . Now he wanted to put all of my Internet installation on and charge me 15 dollars a month. How can I get high speed internet without a home phone from ATT? and not be charge a high price for h speed internet without a phone? Oh I almost forgot ,also they wanted to charge me 99 dollars to fix or install my wireless no phone needed .OMG I wanted to go a la cheap but he must've saw me coming,If u have any experience with a no phone please let me know how i can connect to. Do I have a case against att? I recently had a technitian come over to check the phone jack inside my house because I had no dial tone or internet. He came on wed around 2pm and I got a call from him saying that he had fixed the problem and that he left the bill on desk. He said he had to fix wiring on my roof (according to him the painters cut the wires) and that that type of service was not covered by my plan. I immediatly asked him who authorized him to proceed on the repair job innvolving money. He said to call his supervisor if i had any problems. I have called his supervisor a total of 6 times and left 3 voice mails. I have spoken to numeorus people t att including supervisors and managers and nobody can solve this issue. It is now Saturday and the only thing Ive gotten is a case number. I have to wait and see if somebody decides to call me. I have looked at the bill and it seems that my room mate signed the bill(he is not an english speaker) and could not possibly have understood the terms. He also is not the account holder It seems to me that the technitian should have called me (the account holder) before he proceeded on work costing over 100 dollars. Do I have To pay these guys or can I actually get money from them?
If I have an unlocked iPhone w/ warranty, how do I get it repaired/replaced by Apple? Can I just take it in there, with a new OS install, and no SIM card in it? I actually have my old ATT sim card, but there's no service on it. Would that be ok? Or, I have a buddy with ATT and an iPhone, can I just give him my phone and he can go into the store to take care of it with his SIM? This is all theoretical, if it were to have issues. Thanks! Any ideas appreciated. Don't just say, it's unlocked so no warranty.
