my att phone bill is due tomorrow but i dont get paid til the 14th is it true that they'll give 15 days to pay? And will my phone be connected in those days til I pay my bill??
Can I pay my ATT&T cell phone bill early, and have that payment not show up on the bill? Basically, I went over my minutes by about 200, and it's 45 cents per additional minute. Since my father pays my phone bill, I was hoping that I could just pay for the overages that were caused because of my over-usage earlier, before the bill was actually sent in the mail so he wouldn't find out about it. Also, if it is possible, would that payment show up on the bill when it comes in the mail? If I can pay it early before the bill is printed and sent, how would I go about doing so? Should I switch from Verizon to ATT for a smartphone? Okay, here's the dealio; I am about to finish my 2 year contract with verizon, and want a particular phone. Now, though, they require a minimum data plan monthly of 30$ each month for that type of phone that I would have to pay. ATT offers the same phone with a minimum of 15$, which is a lot more affordable for me. However, there are some pro's and con's to each... Verizon + Can call/text all friends and family without overage or worry + Great reception in my area - Expensive phone bill I may not be able to afford ATT + Phone I want and affordable, too - Have to worry about calls or texting - Unsure of coverage in my area, though I hear it's pretty good / similar to Verizon's. Please help me make my desicion and, if you think verizon is my best bet, work out a way to foot the bill! I have one other option... get a phone I don't like as much and stick with verizon, having to pay only an extra $10.

What should I do about my Cingular/ATT bill? Almost two years ago, I got behind on my Cingular bill by a couple months and they shut my phone off. It had only been turned off a couple weeks when I got the money to pay it. I called and told the Cingular rep that I wanted to pay my bill and get my phone turned back on. She processed my payment, then told me that I would have to pay another $200 to get my phone turned back on. I then told her that I wasn't going to do that, so she then told me that I had to pay a $250 early termination fee since I wasn't going to pay the $200 to get it turned back on. That sounds like extortion to me. I paid my bill in full, so my options were either pay to have it turned back on, or pay to not have it turned back on. Now I have debt collectors calling me about this everyday and I refuse to pay the $250. Am I wrong to think this is ridiculous? Is there any way to settle this?
Outrageous ATT bill? Help please? Ok as soon I checked my ATT bill, I basically freaked out. Its 1,146.26...So I go online to the ATT site and see that each of my phones was charged for an "Early Termination Fee" or something along those lines for each phone, and I have about 5-6 on my account for family. I tried to call them tonight, but they're not available. I'm just curious why was I charged this fee? Last month I was unable to pay the bill on time and had it was disconnected for about a week and a half....are they charging me that fee because of that? That would be a bit ridiculous as they never even contacted me about this, and I never said anything about disconnecting the any of the lines. Any thoughts?

ATT Phone Service? Getting a simple answer from ATT nowadays is next to impossible. First, I tried to change my home phone from Residential to Business and they said - You are not with ATT... I have been paying ATT for service for 1 1/2 years. Then, they asked if the littlle blue and white globe was in the corner of my bill. Yes it is. Long story short - 1 hour and 55 min. later I finally was put through to someone that was able to change my service. Today, I am trying to get a user ID and password set up to use my account manager. I was with 3 different people and endless holds to finally get someone to set it up and the necessary things will be e-mailed to me within 24 hrs. Here's the thing - if I worked outside of my home I would never have had enough time to get these answers. I can see it now.... Oh, I need a 2 hr. lunch because I need to get a 5 min. business transaction over with ATT...... I have filed all my e-mails under the ARRRRRRGGGGG file. Does anyone else have ATT trouble?

How long can this phone bill stay on my credit report, the original balance is from 1999? The original creditor was ATT and now the creditor is CSC Credit Solutions Corp. (the same company that owns my credit file). I have disputed the amount with the credit reporting agency because the balance is incorrect ($700 more)and because the bill is older than 8 years. After filing the dispute CSC calls me the same day and says that the amount has been verified and that I need to pay them that same day.I'm disabled and being harrassed constantly by CSC and then today I find out that CSC and another collection agency is trying to collect on this same debt. Also, I have another phone bill that shows on my credit report that has been charged off, the collection agency wanted me to pay this bill too. I'm not sure what charged off means. Which QWERTY phone is better the samsung A177, the Virgin mobile X-tc, or any other suggestions? Okay, i am going to give little background to my situation. I now currently have the Sony Ericsson W580i (picture of this phone: http://www.idealgadget.com/wp-content/images/2008/03/w580i.png And it has grown on me so much but i really want a QWERTY phone cuz i am a texter (17yrs old) and it would make it a little easier for me but the Sony Ericsson w580i has like really cool features. It has: expandable memory i got a 1 GB memory card in it now, the themes are really cool and you can download them from internet i use a USB cord to connect to phone and transfer all of the themes, games, ringtones, music, stuff i write like in Microsoft and view it as a HTML. The music player is good. And i love the profiles on the phone like for example there is like a Meeting mode where it has everything on vibrate and silent mode where everything is silent and Flight mode like when i go on a plane and what not which are good for me since i travel and i need to have my phone quiet during school so it wont get taken away. the camera is 2.0 mega pixels it takes good pictures and video is very very good , aim is nice really wish i could change my status or update my own custom away tho. Error message when calling ATT phone? Ok so keep trying to get a hold of someone and whenever I call it says "were sorry the person you are trying to reach is not accepting calls at this time" It is the same thing with his moms phone. They are on the same plan, and have ATT. I know that money has been kinda tight, but usually if they dont pay the bill, then it says the number is outta service. Can ATT charge you an "Early Termination Fee" for being late on a payment? This is related to another question I asked. Anyway, I was late on my last ATT bill and my service was disconnected for about 1.5-2weeks. I paid the bill at the beggining of this month and still have my service now. However I just got my next bill, and on it I was charged $175.00 per line on my account as an "Early Termination Fee". I never called them to terminate anything, but now I have a $1,124 cell phone bill. Now my understanding of being late on the payment is they disconnect the lines and continute to charge you regularly as well a late/reconnection fee, not an "Early Termination Fee". So can they just charge you this fee if you're late on a bill or what?
What is the cheepest cellular phone service for mutiplte phones? Cingular used to be good, but since they switched to Att it has been horriblely expensive. A phone bill should never be more than an eletric bill. But our last bill was over $300.00, before we never paid more than $60.00.

Anyone with experience with collections and Yellow Page advertising with the big bad phone company? The local phone company (Bellsouth now ATT) really screwed me over with some mistakes and number changes the past few years. So, my business lost a lot of money and I had no money to pay the outrageous bill. Well they have now started pursuing me and/or my business with some collections company. For the first time they threatened something about my credit, my phone, or my business credit. This account is in the name of a corporation, but of course it is just my small business. I still am in good standing paying the phone bill - but the advertising is behind by almost $10,000. Aside from my business credit getting kicked or no YP advertising for next year ... do I have anything to worry about. I just really need my phone number to stay in place for at least another year else I won't be able to make any money with my business. Also, my personal credit is very good ... and I've been told they shouldn't hit it with bad debt from my corporation just because I'm the "president" of it. TIA for any informed help on this. I have some very valid disputes with the phone company over these ads but they are just denying all responsibility and demanding payment as usual. ATTN: I'm really MOST concerned about whether or not they can disconnect my business phone over this Yellow Page debt. Why is my ATT service still suspened? Yesterday my account was suspended because of a late bill. That evening I paid my bill online. My phone still tells me I am suspended. I call 611 (Which is very limited to "Pay your bill") and I select that option. It tells me I do not owe anything. (I paid it.) Why is it still suspended? I cannot contact an ATT Rep from another phone at this moment. I have an iPhone.

ATT (Cingular) Cell Phone due to Disconect? So heres my question.... I have a phone and I made payement plans to pay my bill.. I was supposed to pay it on the 28th but didnt.. and it hasnt been disconected... Before I missed a payment and it was disconected that night (when it was Cingular) but now its been a few days.. Does anybody know how long it takes to get disconected with AT&T?
Anyone else had text message fraud? $9.99 charge on ATT bill for just recieving a txt msg!? Couldnt figure out why the bill was higher this month. Upon examining the bill. Found a charge under the category: Open Market from: Txtcollect. It was described as a mobile purchase/ download. According the the operator I called at ATT who looked up the reference number it was described as: An operator will prompt user that they will pay a premium price for a word of wisdom and allow a 20 minute conversation. We found the message in memory and it was some one phrase tidbit and had no opt out or charge information. All we did was get the text message and ATT allowed them to post $9.99 to my account. Check your bill and let ATT know, They did not believe me that we did not knowingly accept this charge, but did refund the charge. After searching on the internet this is apparently a practice that is allowed to go on through ATT's agreement with the operator. Its not just ATT, Sprint was mentioned and other cell phone providers allow it to go on as well. Who the heck is knowingly going agree to pay $10 for a word of wisdom from a text message? They are obviously committing fraud.
how would i pay my GO phone charges? i'm seriously considering trying the GO phone from ATT. at least till i can afford a plan. the main reason i haven't already bought a GO phone is the question of how do i pay for the days i use it? will there be a bill in the mail like there is with plans? do i have to have a credit card? if the only way is by credit card then i wouldn't be able to do that. because i don't have one. i would probably buy one from Wal-Mart since they are closer then the ATT stores. the only time i would use the phone is to talk to my fiance who's in a separate state. (army.) he uses his cell to be online for now. and my house doesn't have long distance included with the phone service.

how can i sue a cell phone company for charging me illegitimate etf just when i was about to end contract? about in year 2005 i was almost done with cingular contract of service when i tried request an final extension to pay final bill and refused. right now att has the bill for $699 dollars on which they have no right to charge and still stands with att wireless and still want me to pay the bill even though it's not on my credit report or bill collection agency is it still invalid charges???????
